The Indian Journal of Health Sciences and Biomedical Research KLEU, a prestigious publication of the KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research (KAHER), has been serving the academic and research community since its inception in 2008. Initially published biannually, the journal expanded its frequency to three issues per year to accommodate the growing volume of high-quality submissions. Starting in 2024, the journal will further increase its publication frequency to four issues annually, reflecting its commitment to disseminating cutting-edge research in health sciences and biomedical fields. The Editorial Board, comprising distinguished scholars and experts, is thoughtfully revised every three years to ensure fresh perspectives and uphold the highest standards of academic excellence.

The constituent Institutions of University offers 159+ programs at Under-Graduate, Post-Graduate and Post-doctoral levels with 7300+ students, from across the country and overseas, currently pursuing their academic dream of professional education at the institutions. The University is adding new streams of education, besides health care, with institutions offering programs in Hospitality, FM radio and Music.
To foster a conducive environment and facilitate the translation of research findings into improved healthcare standards, KAHER has established the Research Foundation, Site Management Office (SMO), Dr Prabhakar Kore Basic Science Research Laboratories, Micronutrient Testing Laboratory, Abdul, Kalam Ayurtech Incubation Centre and KAHER Innovation and Incubation Center.
The KAHER has established Departments like Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Research and Development Cell (RDC), Intellectual Property & Rights Cell (IPR), Institutional Innovation Council (IIC), Health and Demographic Surveillance Systems Center (HDSS), Department of Evidence-Based Health Sciences and Department of Digital Health and Health Information management for faculty development to boost research, publications & patents.
Our NSS unit has been consistently ranked as Best in the State and was awarded prize by Government of Karnataka. At present KAHER has 37 NSS units with 3700 NSS Volunteers from KAHER’s constituent units.
Today, KAHER stands proud on the strength of meritorious students, dedicated and renowned faculty and an excellent teaching and learning process. The never-ending quest for excellence has become the essence of the KAHER.
